My name is Emily. I’m a 20-Something currently living in Athens, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio University in 2013 with a degree in Visual Communications, and currently work as an intern with the ministry of Cru at OU.
I struggled with how to succintly sum up who and what I am, so I hope this will suffice:
I’m a daughter, a sister, a friend, and and soon-to-be wife. I’m an avid reader, a coffee drinker, and a fan of all things vintage. I love to laugh. I have a passion for good art and great design. I am enthralled by beauty, wherever I can find it. I am always looking for better, faster, less expensive ways to do things. I’m hopelessly impatient. My heart is often bigger than my prudence. I’m young, enthusiastic, wild, and restless, with an open heart and a head full of dreams.
Most importantly, I love Jesus. He is the redeemer of my life and the lover of my soul. My greatest passion is to know Him and make Him known. I wrestle everyday to both of these things better.
This blog is simply a collection of the above. I write about the things that make me laugh, the people that make my heart beat faster, the ideas that stir my passion, and the Savior that has enraptured every fiber of my being.
Join me – it’s a crazy life.

Wait….do you mean write a poem for you? In that case, no. That would be cheating. Plus, if by tomorrow you mean today, that’s a problem because I have a job that I’m about to leave for where I work all day…

Thanks! But I’m still posting. It’s been a few weeks, but I’m still at it usually at least once a month. More if I’m not drowning in work and feel like I have something to say 🙂

Emily, Although I’m about 2 whole lives older than you, you’re an inspiration to me. Your blog post about being an ADHD Christian, as you so wonderfully express, is relative to all of us. For many years I’ve tried to put just those words into “plain words” but often run into a glitch that may or may be reflective of God’s Word. I’ve read many articles which, to my understanding, also contain such a glitch. I regard your post as very, very “bookmark-able” – in accordance with Truth – & I will share it with others, and not only ADHD-ers. I hope you will not abandon writing as you delve deeper into your photography career. I look forward to following your endeavors. You are extremely blessed with many talents & gifts.
